Pictures and craziness...

I've been super busy with pictures and thought I'd share a few of my favorites. Life has been rather crazy too.Elliott is still having health problems. We go to the hospital on the 29th for a EEG. We believe he maybe having seizures. We are just praying for some answers. He's been so exhausted all the time,and that would explain why.
These pictures are from mini sessions that I had at a local train museum. Super fun location! Great textures, and colors! But, the best part was having wonderful clients. I really love capturing families, babies, and kids!
I used a cannon 5D,with an 18-55mm lense. Manual mode,and as always NO flash! Natural light, gives pictures such a natural raw look. These  pictures are right out of my camera. No adjusting anything. That's what I strive for. Every now and then I like to play with saturation levels,or brighten things up a bit. But, for the most part that's all I do. I have another mini sessions, this Saturday. So,more pictures to come! :)

Oh Baby!

I just love this little guy. He is my THIRD nephew! Boys run in the family. :) He's so precious.
I'm sure when he's a teenager,he'll love the fact that I took so many pictures of him nearly naked.
But,as his Aunt. I'm entitled to document his life. And, it's a pretty swell job! I love you Aiden! :)

Best Friends...

Took Christmas Photo's for our dear friends the Hanlon Family this week...and I can't get a preview up on face book. So,for now this will have to do. I just had to post a few of my MANY favorites. Seriously,this family is so photogenic. They are a photographers dream come true! Not to mention,their girls are simply adorable. We love this family so much, and are so thankful God saw to it to bring them into our lives. And,they happen to have the same initials we do. ;) Thank you Ben and Becky, for being great friends, and trusting me to capture these precious moments in your lives!

Real.Life.

I just had to post these pictures...mostly because they are our real life pictures. I don't want to paint a picture of us being something...that we,well,aren't. We don't have it all together.

My kids get annoyed with each other.

Not every picture turns out perfect.

Because we are not perfect.

But...We do love each other.

God has blessed us so much. And we are so thankful for each other.

No.Clara is not strangling her brother...but it sure looks like it.

This picture sums up our life right now. And that's why I like it.

Because it's real. No touch ups,no editing.Raw,right out of my camera.

We have had some beautiful days...and have loved playing in the many leaves around our house.
